I wanted to post this on the normal member site for Barracudas. I know some of you don't swim with the fall family program but would still like to swim in the Winter TAAF swim meet. Below is the information for the meet. 

Howdy, we are apparently not doing our standard entries by the city. If you are interested in swimming winter TAAF, you should sign up individually. the information is as follows...

TAAF Winter Games of Texas Swimming Championship

January 18-19, 2025

Victoria, Texas

Swim Schedule:

• Saturday, January 18:
  • Morning – Boys 9-17 (Mixed Relays at End)
  • Afternoon – Girls 9-17
• Sunday, January 19:
  • Morning – Boys & Girls 8 & Under; Men & Women 18 & Over

To register, Go to www.taaf.com and click on the Winter Games of Texas logo. You are redirected to the WGOT website and must navigate to the swimming page. Participants must enter the meet through the website (www.taaf.com) and meet the registration deadlines in order to swim. This includes all relay entries. There is no pre-qualifying for this meet. This meet is open to all swimmers, regardless of affiliation.

The fee schedule is as follows…

• REGISTRATION
  • 12/16/24 – 1/2/25
  • 11:59 P.M.
  • $25 – up to 3 individual events
  • $30/relay
• LATE REGISTRATION
  • 1/3/25 – 1/7/25
  • 11:59 P.M.
  • $35 – up to 3 individual events
  • $40/relay

Once you register, participants receive two confirmation emails from Race Reach showing the credit card charge, along with events entered. Please check your spam folder. The email does not come from TAAF. 

Yu should still list Bryan (Bry) as your team for the event. This will also allow for you to be included if anyone wishes to swim relays. If you are interested in swimming relays for your age group please let us know and we can get you in contact with other swimmers on the team.
