Please register for the College Station Swim Meet before Wednesday Evening, May 10th
I want to thank everyone for their hard work in the time trials this weekend. The swimmers swam great and we had so many fast times. The parents worked so hard timing and doing the ready bench, computers and officiating. This upcoming weekend its all going to be real! Saturday, May 13th, is our swim meet with College Station Tsunamis.
This is going to be one of our biggest meets of the season and we need everyone there. So, Please make sure you tell us you are going to be attending on swimtopia before 11:00 P.M on Wednesday May 10th. There will be a few differences in the regular meet schedule and what we swam on Saturday.
- Swimmers will only swim 3 individual events
- Most swimmers swam all events on Saturday, but we are limited to 3 individual events for our dual meet season.
- We will have relays.
- There are two relays each for the various age groups, a freestyle and a medley (all strokes divided between the individual swimmers)
- It is important to let us know if your swimmer will be available for relays.
- We won’t be able to place all of the swimmers in relays, but will try to accommodate as many as we can.
- There are no deck entries
- You have to be signed up before the meet is merged on Wednesday evening. All future meets are open, so you can sign them up now, or before Wednesday each week.
- All disqualifications will result in no time.
- If the swimmer is disqualified, they will not be given a time. Those rules are relaxed some in the time trial, but will be fully enforced during the regular meets.
Once again, please register your swimmers BEFORE WEDNESDAY EVENING on the Swimtopia website for the meet Saturday. We will still need volunteers to time, ready bench etc. Please sign up. When we have the volunteers, we can get through the meet quickly. Once again, Thank you for your time and effort in the Time trial. I am looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday and kicking off another great season for the Bryan Barracudas.
