I want to thank everyone for coming out to the Time trials this weekend. We had a few hiccups, but things smoothed out pretty well and all of the kids swam great. If you were not able to swim this weekend, we need to get your times in practice so that you can swim in the meets.

Now that season has started, we need to have your RSVP’s in by Wednesday evening. We have to merge on Thursday, so we can’t delay. When you RSVP, if you have any requests of the coaches, please add them to the comments. We have unfortunately lost one of our meets this year due to Navasota’s team not being able to participate this season. So, make sure you RSVP in time so that your swimmer will have the most opportunities to swim.

Throughout the season we try to get the swimmers to swim all the events at least once in the season. In events that they are close to invitational times, we try to give them the opportunity to swim them to make their time. With that in mind, we try to meet all of the requests of the swimmer but may move them to an event that will be more advantageous to them in the long run.

The swim meet this week is in Brenham. Brenham is a tough team and we will need all hands on deck to defeat them. While we are the visiting team, we still have some volunteer responsibilities to provide a single timer for each lane (two shifts) as well as team parents, and other volunteer positions. Please sign up when you RSVP.
