Hi Everyone,

I wanted to let you know that we are going to need to have swimmers preferences for regional TAAF meet (July 13^th at the BAC) this week!

Once again, for swimmers 14-under, the regional meet is necessary for the swimmers to swim at the State meet (Texas A&M Natatorium) on July 25-28^th. At state, the age groups are split up over various days. The top three swimmers in each event for the younger swimmers will qualify for state. If you 1re 15-up you do not need to qualify at regionals to swim at state although you can swim both meets.

Different age groups have different totals of events they can swim. This is a total of both individual and relay. The breakdown is below.

• Participants in the 10 & under age divisions may compete in no more than three (3) events.
• Participants in the 11-14 age divisions may compete in no more than four (4) events.
• Swimmers 15-16 would be limited to four (4) events at the state meet, plus 3 mixed relay entries (total of 7). Swimmers 18 & over, unlimited entries would be allowed at the state meet.

I have also included a list of events that the swimmer can swim. This is relatively similar to the NWAL meet line-up. There are some other relays and events available for the older age groups.

So once again. I need your preferences for swims by this Friday! Please inform Marty or myself what you want your swimmers to swim (as well as yourself if you are swimming).
